BFA Sports & Clubs
Welcome back to school parents and students, this year in sports should be a competitive and exciting one. Last year Bright Futures Academy hosted its first season of Boys Lacrosse (with four females on the team) we opened doors for fifth to eighth graders able to compete in this new and upcoming sport in Southern Florida. The athletic department is looking forward to competing against schools such as Benjamin, Okeeheelee Middle, Jupiter Christian, Wellington Christian Trinity Christian and many more in a variety of sports.
All Students MUST have an Athletic Eligibility form filled out and in file in the office to try out for any team.
Bright Futures Academy as all schools in Southern Florida will be a Pay to Play Sports program this year.
The fee is a minor $25 to participate in any sport. This fee will only be required after your child has been chosen for any below listed team. The reasoning for this fee is to cover uniforms equipment, gas and bus maintenance throughout all sporting seasons.
On top of competitive sports, BFA will also be introducing an Archery club through the National Archery in School Program for the middle school students. As well as a Fitness Club for the elementary students. We are also working with the USTA to provide equipment for a Tennis club this year. Keep a look out in the weekly newsletter Shark Bytes for more informations. These clubs will be an exciting opportunity for your students to become involved in an after school activity, which in turn will promote school spirit and a sense of community involvement. We hope your child will be able to take part in one or many of these exciting opportunities.
