What is the BFA Connections Program©?
We felt a need to change the structure of our after school activities program in order for students to gain and expand their knowledge and in turn excel at a higher rate. Therefore, we are excited to announce a new program called BFA Connections Program©. Our goal with this new program is to offer specific classes in Art, Music, Academics, and Athletics which will keep students engaged and motivated as they prepare for admittance to competitive high school programs.
Will the Connections Program© interfere with aftercare already in place?
BFA’s daily aftercare program will stay the same. Our new Connections Program© is in addition to Aftercare for an extra cost (please see below). Students that are currently enrolled in Aftercare will still have the same after school schedule, unless you are interested in registering your child for classes. If an Aftercare student participates in the Connections Program©, they will be pulled out of Aftercare for their class and returned when the class is over.
Will school clubs still be offered after school?
BFA’s Connections Program© has replaced all clubs except for elementary school Scottish dancing (2nd-4th) and jump rope club (K-4). If you are interested in participating in either of them, please contact the Lighthouse or Prosperity campus. Grade level FCAT tutoring will still apply. Students that qualify will be offered this at no cost.
How long is this program?
BFA Connections will be offered over a 10 week period. Each class is scheduled for 1 day a week for a 50 minute period.
Who can sign up for the program?
These classes will be offered to BFA students as well as friends and siblings who might go to a different school or have graduated from BFA.
What is the cost per class?

Is the Connection Program© offered to high school students?
Yes, we are offering a select number of classes specifically for high school students. Please see the class information section to see what the classes are.
How many students will be in each class?
Each class must have a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 12 students.

Students who participate in this program will be part of a showcase performance. This showcase will be all inclusive. Students will be able to perform and demonstrate the skills that they learned over the 10 week period. Information about the showcase will be sent out to families after the courses have begun.
